Healthy social interactions and community participation are important for the mental well-being of people with disabilities. Differently-abled individuals are more likely to feel isolated from society than able-bodied individuals due to various physical, attitudinal, systemic and communication barriers that prevent them from becoming active members of society. Aussie Life Care assists the participants in pursuing their hobbies or learning a new skill as part of community participation by providing the services of NDIS-funded support workers who will help the participants to partake in the activities of their choice.
