Pabi Photography
My name is Pabitra Ojah. Here in Australia, friends call me Pabi, I have been in Australia since Jan 2006. I bought my first digital camera with my first Aussie salary and have been taking photographs ever since. Firstly it was for family, friends and colleagues where I worked as an outdoor instructor. My passion and skills kept growing till I became a professional photographer. I now have three DSLRs and enough lenses to capture a variation of subjects and moments.
I am easy going, and want my work to be fun and natural, so avoid having the “studio look” in my photographs. I love the outdoors and the natural environment because it seems to be where people feel most comfortable in their own skin. To me a photo is about the meaning of the subject not just a picture. It’s important to me that I understand what someone wants a picture to say about their event or life. I take the time to make sure there is a mutual understanding of this with anyone I work with.
My style involves simplicity, clarity and colour composition.
For me there are three main factors that makes a photograph worth keeping:
The framing of the photograph.
The timing of the photograph.
The clarity of the photograph
