Slovakia is not on the list of countries included in the Schengen Zone, but you're still able to traveling between the four Schengen members through the land borders. This means that if you have a visa to get into one of those listed states, you have a free pass for travel into the remaining countries. There are certain steps you need to follow when entering these nations, however. One of the main restrictions is that it isn't permitted to bring any cash or traveller's checks into the country you're going. You should have only 1 form of payment for the length of your stay, so that you don't run into any issues when trying to get a refund.
