East Coast Paintball
Paintballs are made of a gelatin shell which contains
food ingredients inside such as polyethylene glycol. Different grades of paintball balls will
feature different thickness of the hard gelatin shell as well as the brightness
and thickness of the fill inside. A general
rule of thumb is that as the price of the paint increases, the shell becomes
more brittle (thinner) and the fill more vibrant and thicker. The reason for this is designed for paintball
tournaments. The theory is that more
brittle paintballs will break more consistently with one shot minimizing the
risk of bouncing a player in a crucial moment.
Secondly, the paintball fill is thicker and more vibrant so players
stand less of a chance of hiding or wiping a hit. Paintball / Airsoft Store Pittsburgh - USA.
