How to access the Asus.router.com ?

To access your Asus router, you will need to login into your asus router. In this article, we will provide you step by step instructions on how to access your asus router. By login into your asus router, you can manage or modify all the settings on your asus router such as change admin or recover admin password, WiFi password change, change Asus router username, allow or disallow particular wired or wireless device, recover forget password, create new guest network account or setup and create parental control feature etc. Please go through the below steps one by one to access the asus router and do not forget to read the notes and tips section below.

Notes -  

Connect your computer to the router via LAN cable and do not use wireless devices to access the asus router.

Admin password is not the WiFi password of your Asus router. It can be used only for the Asus router login page.

You will find all the default login credentials on the back panel of your Asus router.

Basic steps to access the asus router 

Connect your device to the Asus router by connecting ethernet cable on both ends.
Check if you are connected to the internet or not. Your device should be connected only on Asus router home WiFi network.
Now launch any new browser such as Google chrome, Mozilla firefox, Internet Explorer, opera or any other available web browser. We prefer you to use google chrome browser.
On the top of the new page, please type router.asus.com ot http://router.asus.com.
Note - If router.asus.com not redirecting you to the asus login page, then type the IP address into the web address bar. You can find the IP address of your Asus router on the back panel of the router.
On the Asus login window, enter username and password.
Username and admin password is admin/admin. Both in lowercase.
Note:- Do not use WiFi name or WiFi password in this required field. Username and admin password can be used only to access the router and not for connecting your device. 
Click on login to continue.

Now you can modify or change the settings of Asus router.
