I have played games alot, I'm ex comp on RS3 (not been comp since 120 slayer update), then I shifted to OSRS as I got tired on RS3, there wasn't too much for me to do after comp without getting very burnt out for trimming etc. Now I am now trying to max my OSRS accounts and just started a HCIM OSRS across the side and actually appreciate it, OSRS feels much more rewarding to me personally without the MTX and DXP weekends (months now it sounds!). However, both games are great for different reasons. RS3 is more engaging and contains much more enjoyable pvm content and battle system - better for brand new players, and OSRS is a lengthier grind but feels more rewarding - and better for original/nostalgic players.
I am thinking of attempting to play RS3 again and checking out all of the new content though. Both are very good! I like osrs,but I think RS3 is a much better match with more to do rather than grinding (which is the fun of osrs) try out both man! Hell,I thought classic was great when they brought it back a few years ago:P I have been playing for like 13 decades so osrs is much more what I expect from runescape,but by no way makes RS3 a lousy game or RuneScape not really worth checking out,you may like RS3 alot better!
I'm someone who's put a lot of hours to both versions of RuneScape, and from my experience I personally believe that OSRS is more"cover to acquire". Posting this here because I'm not sure the other subreddit would appreciate it much. I'm going to get started with construction. What are my alternatives to train? In RS3 There is the monthly god statues, which give 40k free con xp per month(in lv 70. Experience scales) Or I could do Wilderness Warbands, which might give upwards of 240k free con xp every day in lv 70. Or I could look for some money. You can locate [methods] which make around 10m an hour which don't require any stats over 70. So 6 hours of this and you Have Sufficient gp to get 99 con)
