Anti-cancer effect 

Salidroside also plays an important role in anti-cancer. Studies have shown [7] that salidroside may inhibit the cancer progression of human pancreatic cancer BxPC-3 cells through the hypoxia-inducible factor 1a/lysyl oxidase-like protein 2 pathway. Studies have shown [8] that salidroside may induce apoptosis of bladder cancer cells through autophagy, mediated by the /PI3K/Akt and MMP-9 signaling pathways, thereby affecting the survival time and apoptosis of bladder cancer cells. Studies have shown [9] that salidroside may significantly inhibit poorly differentiated thyroid cancer WRO cells by inhibiting the JAK2-STAT3 signaling pathway. Studies have shown [11] that salidroside can regulate the metabolism of gastric cancer cells by inducing cell apoptosis and inhibiting glycolysis. Second, studies have shown [12] that salidroside inhibits the growth of gastric cancer cells through the PI3K/Akt/mTOR-mediated signaling pathway, and also induces apoptosis and protective autophagy of gastric cancer cells. The above studies show that salidroside has a certain therapeutic effect in inhibiting gastric cancer, bladder cancer, thyroid cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, etc. Compared with traditional chemotherapy drugs, salidroside has the advantages of low price and few side effects, which provides a new treatment idea for clinical treatment of tumors.
