Date: 09/07/2019Together with my husband, I had a company that ran a Mexican restaurant in Brisbane for over 15 years. Due to my husband’s ill health, a major heart attack and 2 years of being unable to work, The Australian Tax Office was now threatening to liquidate our company and I became caught up in a nightmare situation and I didn’t know where to turn.
By chance on a random search on the Internet I came across Andrew at Rebuild Now and it changed my life. He put me at ease almost immediately and showed great empathy for me and the situation I was in. After my first telephone conversation with Andrew I felt like a great weight had lifted from my shoulders.
Andrew helped me throughout the whole process, I no longer felt alone. Andrew always answered all my calls of which there were many. Most importantly, he never made me feel like I was being a nuisance. He also kept in touch regularly to assure me that everything was going to be okay.
Once we were through that another issue hit us - the ATO were demanding payment of the Directors Penalty Notice and our house was at risk. Once more Andrew was there for me taking on all the communications with the ATO and attending to all the paperwork that was required.
I suffer with extreme anxiety and panic attacks and this was such a difficult time for me and I don’t believe anyone could have helped me the way that Andrew did.
