Tape: Window and door frames, panels or sockets should not be painted. Perhaps you want to distinguish one part of the wall from the rest with a color. Using pigment tape (also called masking tape), you can cover the respective points. The tape protects against staining and can be removed when finished without leaving any residue and without the need to remove upholstery or other color layers.
Cover paper: Color splashes are inevitable when painting walls, especially ceilings. To save the laborious cleaning task, floors and heaters must be protected from color spots. It is better to use pigment cloth or non-woven pigment cloth which are available in different sizes. Window panels can simply be covered with old newspapers, and fixed with masking tape.
