Absolutely appalling experience with the stand-over tactics employed to extort payment by the principle of this firm. The standard operating procedure seems to be: underquote to get the the job; break the job over a number of crews (maximizing the billing related to the start and finish of a crew); demand cash payment; provide no tax invoice or other certification upon payment; have the owner then harass customers (by telephone, at home and at place of work) with claims of receiving no payment at all; follow up harassment with threats of physical violence, theft and extortion; and continue advancing fraudulent claims in the hope of extracting payments far in excess of billing.
