High energy bills are always worrying especially in hot and humid summers. But few know that with careful planning, it can be reduced to a great extent. This summer, I had an energy audit carried out in my house by AF Electrical. I had heard of them as they had been certified as the State Master Electrician for Victoria in 2014. Their electricians came over and thoroughly inspected the wiring, the rating of electrical appliances and the lighting and related fixtures. One of their primary suggestions amongst many others was to change most lights from fluorescent to LED lamps and change certain windows to more energy efficient ones. There was an immediate drop in energy consumption levels and bills. Would strongly recommend them.
