Guidelines for employment reference letter Employment reference letter plays an important part in your RPL report. All the skills and experiences you’ve gained in your academic years and your employment years will be presented in this very letter. The report is submitted to the ACS society that will take your migration skills assessment. Employment reference letter provides details on your academic reports, work experiences. Your work experience should showcase your skills at a professional level. Criteria for your employment reference At least 20 hours per week of employment evidence Include only your paid employment period. Volunteering services will not be counted as employment Employment completed after the ACS suitability criteria date will be counted as skilled employment Only one employment episode will be counted as valid out of another multiple employment episodes you submit. You have to provide evidence from your employer. Format for Reference Letter Start - End Dates in a DD/MM/YYYY format Employment Position Duties performed in your field of occupation Roles and duties performed Total hours worked per week State the country where your employment was undertaken Organization Letterhead along with a signature from an authorized person. Digital signatures are acceptable, but they must be verifiable. Payment Evidence Your employment payment evidence should clearly state at least two of these points. Official tax payment record Payment slip including the name of the employer and applicant Insurance records for the employment Bank statements with salary payments from the employer
