To determine the eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the University Grant Commission (UGC) organizes National Eligibility Test (NET) twice a year. 


The pattern for this prestigious examination was changed in 2012. UGC NET Tutor General Paper I has been designed according to the recent examination pattern issued by the UGC for General Paper I.

Also 2014 (June & December) and 2013 (June & December) Solved Paper of UGC NET General Paper I have been given to help candidates understand the recent examination pattern. Detailed and authentic solutions for all the previous years' questions have been provided at the end of each chapter. 

The book also contains various types of objective questions based on the latest examination pattern to help the candidates get familiar with the new examination pattern.
