Radha Govind University (RGU) was established on 1st June 2018 with the assent of H.E. Governor of Jharkhand as a full fledged University in the academic year 2018 vide Government of Jharkhand notification no 14 of 2018. The act was promulgated with the object to incorporate State private University at the State level for the introduction and promotion of regular University and Modern Education systems in the education pattern of the State and for the Co-ordination and determination of standard of such systems.
