What to Do in a Dental Emergency? ??
If you're experiencing a dental emergency, don’t wait to seek care. Here’s what you can do in some common situations:
Toothache: Rinse your mouth with warm water, floss to remove any trapped debris, and apply a cold compress to reduce swelling. Call us right away for relief
Cracked or Broken Teeth: Keep the broken pieces and rinse your mouth with warm water. Apply a cold compress to reduce swelling and contact us immediately.
Lost Crown or Filling: If a crown or filling falls out, try to keep the area clean and cover it with dental cement if you have it. Call us to schedule a repair.
Knocked-Out Tooth: Time is critical! Hold the tooth by the crown (not the root) and rinse it gently. Try to place the tooth back into the socket if possible. If not, keep it moist in a glass of milk and get to our office as soon as possible.
