As per UNICEF data estimate, 36.7 million people were living with HIV worldwide in 2015. Of these people, 1.8 million were children under 15 years of age and about 17.8 million were women and girls. Each day in the year 2015, approximately 5,700 people were newly infected with HIV and approximately 3,000 people died from AIDS-related causes. It is mostly because of inadequate access to HIV prevention care and treatment services. The world has committed to end the AIDS epidemic by 2030..
