At the present time there are many unique varieties of visas and more will be introduced later on, for example, eVisa. Having set the ambitious target of reaching 60 million foreign visitors per year by 2030, the government of Japan decided to create the visa application process a lot simpler to handle, thus the new electronic visa system being introduced. When the e-visa application procedure opens up to visitors from other nations aside from China, there really isn't any reason to wait.
