PCYC NSW is a charity empowering young people to survive, and thrive, in partnership with the Police and the community.

PCYC City of Sydney is the original club, opened in 1937 by Police Commissioner, William John Mackay. Located in Woolloomooloo, we’re in the heart of the city, opposite the Domain Carpark. We have a great range of activities for adults and plenty of after school activities for young people.

We have a strong boxing reputation and history that has connected us with the community since the 30s. Boxing is one of the original sports conducted at the City of Sydney club when it was established in 1937. For over 80 years the Woolloomooloo Boxing Program has been the home gym for State, National and World Champions and continues that tradition today.
