Australian based artist Giuseppe Giovenco draws inspiration from a variety of modernist and post-modern aesthetics and design and blends it with popular culture and historical / intellectual contexts. His works are driven by the intention to tap into sentiment and create pieces that allow them to incorporate aspects of their situated environment as part of the piece; thus making them a natural component of the space they inhabit. Giuseppe's works seek to have a strong sculptural element to them regardless of the medium or format in which he is working. Giuseppe works with painting, drawing, installations, sculpture, design, landscape, architectural and virtual spaces.
