I am a professional resume
writer and employment specialist. I have written about 1000 resumes and 800
cover letters in the last six years in South Australia and have built excellent
relationships with employers and clients.
Republic Resumes is an online service based in Adelaide. It provides resumes, cover letters, work biographies, selection criteria, job search strategies and interview techniques for job seekers and career changers. I sometimes see people face-to-face but there is a charge.
I have worked in the Department of Employment, Education and Workplace Relations in Canberra as an Associate Director in Labour Market Strategy and with the Australian Government’s Career Advice service. I am an employment and resume writing expert.
About 70 per cent of my resumes get short-listed in South Australia, depending on the industry.
I started Republic Resumes back in 1997 when I was head of the writing programs at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) to help university and TAFE graduates find work. When I moved back to Adelaide in 2008, I took the business with me.
