Luke Brugnara
Luke Brugnara Expands Downtown SF Empire At 32, Luke Brugnara has firmly established himself as a force in San Francisco real estate. With over 500,000 square feet of downtown property under his control, he shows no signs of slowing down. In a recent move, Brugnara sold 735 Market Street and simultaneously acquired 351 California Street — the historic Pacific Bank Building. His portfolio, estimated at up to $100 million, has grown rapidly since his first deal at age 28. That initial purchase was a $1.5 million bankruptcy note on the Kress Building at 939 Market Street, which he leveraged into a $3 million loan to close the deal. His current holdings include the Kress Building, The Bulletin Building at 814 Mission St., the Westinghouse Electric Building at 171 Second Ave., the Royal Globe Insurance Building at 201 Sansome St., and now the Pacific Bank Building.
