My experience has shown that the Joint Studio does not operate with any care philosophy and Riaz Khan does not care about the suffering and mutilation that he causes on the operating table or after. Whilst Khan's surgical assistants stood around my bed discussing the merits of amputating my leg above or below the knee, my wife entered the room and interjected that there would be no amputation without my permission. They hurriedly scurried away. Shortly after my wife was presented with a form by Khan's offsider to sign, without any prior discussion, to authorize that in the event of unconsciousness, DNR. She refused. Later I had a raging fever with a high temperature and only with my wife's intervention and the use of cold towels and room fans to incorporate the latent heat of vapourization was I able to pull through. Near-death experience. The worst mistake of my life was to enter the Joint Studio consulting rooms.

I have found the Joint Studio, and Riaz Khan to provide SSI's that lead to debilitating long-term disabilities for which I will try to attach photographic evidence.

I posted the above review which the joint studio repeatedly tried to remove together with photographs of the mutilation of my leg that Riaz Khan performed. The only way that they have been able to remove the photographs is by posting a new website that does not allow photographs and bypasses the Competition and Consumer act of 2010 which makes it illegal for a seller or service provider to alter, edit or delete a review. My engagement with the Joint Studio represents the worst possible medical episode of my life and the only positive is that I am still alive having been close to death twice on the operating table. rating 1/5

In March 2019 I underwent a left knee replacement operation. By September 2019 it was apparent that the operation was not successful as the pain was worse than before and I could not walk unaided. The surgeon advised after extensive x-rays and imaging that the interval fitted to the new joint was incorrect and it could be corrected with a minor procedure that would involve a hospital stay of 4 days. During the procedure in November 2019 it was discovered that some screws in the joint had become loose so this was also fixed. The wound then became swollen with a staph infection which took 8 further operations to clean and close up and meant I had to stay in hospital a further 29 days. I am in constant pain and can only get about with the help of a four-wheel walking frame. I have not been offered any remedial assistance such as physiotherapy or hydrotherapy to improve my handicap and the Joint Studio has been allowed to destroy what were to have been my golden years in retirement to that of a pathetic hobbling cripple for which there are no medical malpractice consequences. The strain that the failed medical procedure has put on my marital relationship is beyond description. As reviews are intended to assist and provide advice to prospective users of a service, it is important to be aware of the ramifications of posting an unfavorable review following surgery by Prof. Riaz Khan involving 'devastating complications'. I have since been pushed under a bus and totally abandoned from prescriptive medicine and further care and consultations.
