How does it work?
You will have the option of faxing or scanning your invoices, receipts, bank statements and other documents. Then by using e-mail you will be able to transfer scanned documents to a secure personalized database. Once received, the data will be entered into the accounting system and we will be able to assist you with bank account reconciliations, invoicing, bill payments, payroll, BAS and PAYG obligations and preparation of customized reports.
We can complete your bookkeeping by using Myob accounting software with the combination of three setups:
- Application service provider
In this scenario Softlink uses approved Myob or Quickbooks service providers to host your bookkeeping file. Once running on the secure server the application can be accessed 24/7 by Softlink and the client via the internet. It allows us to update the accounts at any time without the client losing access to his bookkeeping file.
- Softlink hosted bookkeeping
Softlink works on your bookkeeping file on its premises. Clients do not require bookkeeping software. Each month or on request you will be provided with detailed reports of your updated accounts.
- Web based bookkeeping
Bookkeeping software is hosted on the web server. It can be accessed through the internet by logging into a secure website. No bookkeeping software is required. For now It is available with Quicken software only as Myob is still in the phase of testing its application.
