WARNING TO ALL LOCALS My husband and i took our Porsche to be serviced at VAR Glenayr ave north bondi as it was running a little sluggish and we decided to do a service, we were advised it would be around $400 mark and we agreed, we then received a phone call advising we need to change spark plugs and clean the air filter the list goes on, two days later we pick up our vehicle $1200 plus so we took it on the nose and thought well its all sorted, quiet the opposite and when driving out with the car the car was in the same condition, sluggish and if not worst. we returned the vehicle and explained our disappointment, we were advised to return it back later that morning for an hour or so, four hours pass without any phone call, we decided to chase them up to received no ecplanation..we made our way down there to be lied to by the manager mechanic owner not quiet sure who he was, he began to get aggressive and perplexed and nervous in his behaviour and also to have the paper work ripped out of my hands by him and not allowing me to keep the paper work about my car and when asked why i can't keep it the mechanic "manny" said its personal, i explained this isn't possible, i paid for this and its about my car and i want it he bluntly refused as though there was something that i shouldn't see..that absolutely upset me and they offered no explanation..this place is dodgy and not transparent and beware everyone DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF AND DRIVE OUT WITHOUT ANYTHING DONE they did not offer any guarantee of the works carried out and now its with the department of fair trading...Im out of pocket and have to put my car in to be serviced elsewhere totally disappointed and disillusioned. I have since found out through other people this is not the first time this happened so i will not rest until they right their wrong.
