| My name is Melanie Fell Agnew and I am a modern civil celebrant. My celebrancy ethos is that wedding ceremonies should be all about the loved up couple saying the "I do's" but as an exception (just this once!) I will tell you a little about myself. When I became a stay at home mum I missed sharing in the meaningful moments in people's lives. I had oodles of time to clean up the mess made by sticky fingers and wipe dirty (yet totally adorable) faces but I was looking to reconnect with some of the moments that define us. Those time-standing-still moments that transport us from one stage of life into another. As a social worker I previously had the privilege of sharing in some of people's hardest moments now I get to share in the joy! What's not to love! So if you are looking for a celebrant who wants to work alongside you to put you and your ideas at the centre... you have found me! Together we will weave your ideas and vision into the ceremony until you are as in love with it as you are the person you are marrying! |
