decomposition rate of magnesium oxide were investigated, and the relationship
between the activity of magnesium oxide and its microstructure was discussed. The
results showed that with the increase of temperature and pyrolysis time of
magnesium chloride, the purity and decomposition rate of magnesium oxide
increased, the activity of magnesium oxide decreased and the grain size
increased.
