Gingerbread Kindergarten
At Gingerbread Kindergarten, we have designed a warm and caring space for children to feel just like he or she is at home. Our group of passionate and eager teachers is ready to receive every child aged 0-5 years old and work on their development, and provide their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive progress in an atmosphere of safety, happiness, and stability. Building strong connections with families is what we have believed for years, and so we encourage parents to be an evocative part of their child’s learning journey. In our program, teachers take time each week to observe and understand each child to give their positive input. They record these observations within the developmental segments, such as physical, emotional, language, social, and cognitive skills. This is what they learn to plan the following week’s activities. This cycle boosts the confidence of children and enhances a genuine love for learning. They gradually become creative, curious, independent thinkers. We teach them how to learn, not just what to know. Everything is thoughtfully designed to support each child’s strengths. This is from the choice of toys to the layout of the room, to our daily rhythm, and thereafter, we help them make a smooth transition to school.
