Metal coil slitting lines: Slitting lines are longitudinal cutting jumbo metal coils into more narrow coils. Usually slitting lines are consisted of four main parts: decoiler, slitter, tensioner and recoiler. Metal strip is fed from decoiler, through slitter for longitudinal cutting by two circular cutting blades, and then re-coiled in slitted mults on the recoiler through tensioner. Those smaller width coils are then used in roll forming lines, tube mill lines, press machines, etc.
