Fildena 100
Fildena 100 is an oral pill for the treatment of
erectile dysfunction. It works by relaxing blood vessels and increasing blood
flow to the penis. It cannot produce an erection on its own, but it does
improve the quality of your erection when you take it with sexual stimulation.
The most common side effects of
Fildena are flushing, headache, blurred vision, muscle pain, upset stomach, and
rash. However, these side effects are usually temporary and disappear after you
stop taking the medication. If they become severe, or if you notice any changes
in your symptoms, contact your doctor right away.
In addition, you should avoid
eating certain foods while taking this medicine. For example, high-fat foods
can decrease their effectiveness. Also, grapefruit and juice can interact with
the medication and cause nausea or dizziness.
Your doctor may adjust your dose
of Fildena, either reducing it or increasing it depending on how you respond.
The usual dose is 50mg, taken orally about an hour before sexual activity. The
amount is lowered to 25mg if the medication is ineffective or increased to
100mg if you experience more than one or two problems with your erection.
Depending on your body, it can
take up to 30 minutes before the drug starts working. You should not take this
pill more than once a day, and using it for more than 4 hours at a time is not
recommended.
Some people who take this drug
develop priapism, which causes a painful and slow erection. An allergy usually
causes this to the medication, low blood pressure, and other medical
conditions. If you think you might have priapism, call your doctor right away.
If you are pregnant or plan to
become pregnant, you should not take Fildena. You should also not use this
medication if you are allergic to it or its ingredients.
The medication should not be used
if you have a history of stroke, heart disease, or congestive heart failure. It
is also not recommended to take it if you are taking nitrate medications or if
you have pulmonary arterial hypertension.
