Who are we?
MyKneeGuide has been created in conjunction with a panel of experts in the field, including: orthopaedic knee replacement surgeons, physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgical assistants, nurses and anaesthetists.
Why did we start this?
We started this information source because total knee replacement surgery can be complex, confusing and better communicated. Additionally, A lot of the (free) information available on the internet is either incomplete, incorrect or misleading. TheKneeGuide is working to build a single, comprehensive and trustworthy information source about everything related to total knee replacement surgery.
Panel Experts
Content and information on TheKneeGuide is written and reviewed by a range of panel experts, it is coordinated by our medical director, Dr. Robert Massera MBBS, BMSc (USyd) (Orthopaedic Surgical Assistant), who has many years experience assisting a number of top orthopaedic surgeons in Sydney in: hip and knee replacement surgery, foot and ankle surgery and reconstructive knee surgery.
