ingredient used in most cosmetic collagen boosters (TGF-ß and its artificial
alternatives) increases the amount of collagen your skin produces, but it can
also inadvertently send this collagen production out of control. When it is
uncontrolled, newly produced collagen is low in quality. Which is why so many
collagen boosters don’t give you the results you expect. TGF-ß works by
stimulating cells in the skin called fibroblasts to produce more collagen. But
it also activates the body’s immune cells, which release something called
leukotrienes. Leukotrienes send the fibroblasts into overdrive, causing them to

that gives your skin it’s elasticity) being produced to keep up with the large
