Follow our example and start each day with a session in the treetop palapa — yoga is available every morning at 9 a.m. and assures a terrific day from the get-go — followed by a substantial breakfast and fresh juices to hydrate. This is the best way to make the most of your time in Tulum, no matter what other activities you choose to participate in. 

Mojitos at Batey Mojito and Guarapo Bar are produced with freshly crushed sugarcane from a converted Volkswagen Beetle. On another day, we spent $35 (each way) to take a cab into Tulum Pueblo for dinner at Negro Huitlacoxe and mojitos at Batey Mojito and Guarapo Bar. The elote dorado and birria quesadilla that were served at this exquisitely lighted establishment with pink walls were out of this world, but our time spent in the city brought home to us just how wonderful our lives were at the beach.
