2. The Sanding Process
To prepare the timber floors before sanding, our expert team will first pull out either the carpet or underlay, followed by punching in nails in order to fill up the holes. This process is necessary to allow our team to begin the sanding process on the correct surface. Once the floor is prepared, the team members will follow our meticulous techniques which effectively removes the build-up of dirt, allowing the natural beauty in your floors to resurface.
3. The Polishing Process
After sanding, the next step involves polishing the floors. There are two options on how you would like your timber floors finished. This includes polished or oiled. If you prefer a gloss shine, then polishing is the best option. If you prefer a finish that is matte, then oiling is the preferred solution.
Our product includes a 2K Duo Polyurethane which is a finish that is water-based. If you are aiming for a matte or satin look, this is the right finish for your floors. This product provides double-durability with the Hybrid SR-10. It is also odourless and non-toxic.
We are also proud to offer our latest product a UV Cured Polyurethane which is commercial grade. Similar to the 2K Duo Polyurethane it provides your floors with a satin or matte finish. This finish is superior as it provides triple durability which is 40% more durable when compared to other conventional finishes. It also provides instant usability where both business and homeowners are able to benefit as you no longer have to wait for hours or even days before you can use your floors. This is because the UV Cured Polyurethane ensures your floors can be used immediately after the floors are cured by a UV light system.
