Dams are the life blood of farms and many rural and remote areas. When they leak, its a loss of a valuable and costly resource. Many dams can be sealed using clays or polymers, however where there exists poor soil conditions this is really at best only a temporary solution. For true prevention of water loss a more permanent solution is needed, such as a dam liner.
