We established our company in 2008 in response to a strong market need for specialist, independent: business valuation, and advisory services on a level which rivals the largest accounting and forensic investigatory firms.
We are a CA (Chartered Accountants) branded firm and our principals and associates - Trevor Cuss, Andy Tompkins, Mark Thiel, Jon Burgess all have deep pedigrees in business, business valuation and the provision of corporate advice - each having held partner/director or senior management roles in the Big 5, Investment Banks and listed corporates.
Our target market is family and corporate lawyers, mid-sized businesses and smaller corporates.
We access our target market through our international networks and intermediaries including family law counsellors, legal firms, other advisors, M&A boutiques and business brokers.
We focus on understanding the industry in which you compete and then gaining an insight into the market position your business has in that market/s.
We also focus on understanding the key revenue and cost drivers of your business, its break-even point/s, sales cycle, fixed and working capital investment cycles and ultimately its cash flow generation ability.
We take the above results and our own understanding of M&A markets (locally and internationally) into account in determining your current and potential business valuation.
We work collaboratively with you and your management team to grow that value through the development and execution of a comprehensive business and action plan, and a strong focus on ensuring the business is always sales-ready.
We monitor progress and project manage the process to ensure that we all remain accountable. Where necessary, we may even take a non-executive role on your advisory Board.
Succession, like many things comprises a fine balance between planning and implementation. We advise on structuring and asset protection issues ...and when the time comes for a transaction to be executed our deep transaction support pedigree ensures we have the neccesary skills and understanding to assist you package, market and negotiate a transaction.
