ResCom High Performance Boards are fire rated, construction, insulation and decoration panels used for interior and exterior surfaces of all buildings. Our boards have been UL 055, ASTM-Tested and A-Rated. They offer outstanding performance, with consistent non combustible fire ratings on either side of the panel, and will increase the floor space in your build. ResCom boards are the first in the world to be formally recognised at the highest level of approval under the JAS-ANZ CodeMark scheme which provides certification of compliance to the National Construction Code and Building Code of Australia. A copy of this certification is available to view on our website.

CertMark International conducted acoustic performance tests on ResCom High Performance Board measuring airborne Sound Reduction Indices in accordance with AS1191-2002. The results showed that ResCom improves acoustic performance and its construction actively dampens noise, reducing soundwaves entering, or exiting, the building.

ResCom High Performance Boards have been proven to conform to the durability requirements of the BCA. They are extremely durable and impervious to impact, including ultraviolet rays and chemicals, due to strong bonds between magnesium and oxygen atoms. This reduces the need for maintenance, repair and replacement in high traffic areas, e.g student accommodation, hospitals, office buildings, etc. They are also termite and vermin proof, offering complete resistance to gnawing pests.

Our boards have been freeze/thaw tested for 36 months. They do not warp, swell or degrade in damp areas. ResCom Boards are also non nutritious to mould or fungus.

Made from Natural materials, ResCom is free from elements that are hazardous to human health, including asbestos, toxins and heavy metals. Greenhouse gas friendly, capturing emissions in the magnesium oxide fibre during the low temperature manufacturing process, they use 20 to 40% less energy in production than cement based boards.
