The above 5 star ratings have probably been put on by Penta staff desparately trying to protect their jobs! In reality the reverse is true. They DO advertise the cheapest prices and say they have the item in stock, but they rarely if ever deliver and, from what I can tell, if they do deliverm, it's never on time. Avoid unless you have masochistic tendancies, have money to waste and want unending frustration!
Checked online for parts availability and also confirmed several times that my high end server items were in-stock as my order was time dependant for a project rollout. Communication was great prior to payment as Penta would often call to follow-up multiple times a day. I have a pile of emails clearly stating that all items were in-stock for immediate shipment post payment. Foolishly placed my order and then never heard anything for two weeks. Sent a few emails for order updates but never had any replies. Calls are a waste of time as Penta just tell lies to buy time and make up all sorts of excuses as to why my order has problems. Call operators say that Mike Hays is the only person who can tell me about my order but he is out/sick/busy/in meeting/etc but then I find that he is sitting on chat trying to deceive others. Lies upon lies. It has been two months since payment and I have absolutely none of the various items. Penta have no desire to help and their actions look to be the normal Penta practice after reading the other reviews. My client started looking online for the exact same items due to the delay and they said that they found a supplier with ALL ITEMS IN STOCK. The supplier turned out to be Penta – so it is obvious that Penta operate on lies and deception to get your money. I have told all my suppliers, clients and peers about Penta and would strongly advise others to stay well clear of this fraudulent business. One star is too much for this terrible business. Penta is by far the worst business I have ever dealt with.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM PENTA!!!! Four weeks after paying for items I am still waiting for delivery. Each day I have rung and been told that the order has been processed and will be shipped tomorrow - This has been going on for 3 weeks... Liars, Cheats and Frauds
I wish I had done my research better. 1 star is too much for this company. I've never had such a bad experience with an online order. I've even received goods from the USA quicker in the past. 2 weeks after having placed the order and paid for the goods, I am still waiting. It doesn't help to phone them and leave a message. You have to phone back until you reach the person that deals with your order. Every time they promise that I'll receive the goods shortly. Well, after 2 weeks of promises I am still waiting. They don't even want to cancel the order. If the sales service is this bad, what will the after-sales service be like? Do yourself a favour and buy your goods elsewhere. One more thing that annoyed me is that I never seem to get someone on the line that can speak proper English.
i know this company is best in Australia because company service is very good and lowest price for the other site.

Just search around - TrueLocal, trusted reviews.com.au, whirlpool all show these guys for who they are: poor service, false advertising and long delays stay away!
