Substation Design Suite consists of two modules  

1. Physical design module:  With this module, we can create a 3D model of the substation. This module comes with various design checks necessary for physical design. This module is an add-on to Autodesk Inventor so users will have an additional advantage of using the features of the inventor as well. 

2. Secondary design module: This module is used for the protection and control design of the substation. This module comes with various automatic tools for wiring and panel design. This module is an add-on to AutoCAD Electrical so users will have an additional advantage of using the features of Autocad electrical as well. 

Substation Design Suite (P&C): Intelligent and Automated Schematics 

AutoCAD electrical and SDS toolkit provides ways to create intelligent and automated schematics. 
 
SDS toolkit provides real time error checking comparing the number of insertions with the catalogue part number and allows us to make the change. Also, SDS toolkit allows users to reuse the information again and again which has once created in our schematic.
