SpineScan: We all know that one of the key functions of the human spine is to give our bodies the strength and flexibility to move, thanks to an ingenious design in which each segment is able to move freely without pain.
Unfortunately, too many of us also know what it feels like to lose some of that strength and flexibility and experience back and neck pain as a result of trauma, lack of exercise (or doing the wrong kind of exercise) or just aging. Although a healthy spine is capable of taking a remarkable amount of punishment as we go about our daily activities, there are limits. Traumas such as schoolyard falls and car accidents can cause vertebrae to start moving abnormally, or worse still, stop moving altogether.
