Very very poor customer service skills. No one ever seems to be available when we call. Never return phone calls. Rude phone manner. Had our timber flooring through these people which was then passed onto Infinity Flooring. Took them over a month to finish. Was told it would be done in 2 days. Didn't show up one day and didn't call to let us know. Scotia is what held everything up. Was told it would take about 2 weeks, it took over a month. Had to order it in special apparently. Didn't think to check before taking off the skirting boards as whether or not he would need the scotia. Called Accent Carpets to complain, i was told, and i quote "That's disgusting. You have been more than patient" She said she would chase it up then call me back. Called back a few hours later. Her manner was totally different. Demanded the balance owing on the flooring (despite contract stating the balance is paid upon completion) because "they have to pay bills". I said i wasn't paying until the floor was finished and she said, again i quote, "so you think just a bit of scotia is worth $****?" So it went from being "disgusting" to "just a bit of scotia" between 2 phone calls. She also stated that they never had any complaints before about the person laying the floor, and that he is very nice. I told her we thought he was nice but we weren't happy with the job. Now when the guy came back to finish, he did a half arsed job. Hid a VERY badly broken bit of scotia underneath the pantry shelves. Sat broken pieces in place hoping we wouldn't notice. Didn't bog any of the nail holes (and there's about 5 in every section) VERY poorly bogged some of the corner pieces. Now, only 5 months later there is a 1cm gap in sections of the flooring peeking out from underneath the scotia. Called for a warranty claim, she wasn't in, again. Called back, again very rude phone manner. Didn't believe it was a warranty issue. Said she would have to send someone out to check it out. We stated we did NOT want the same guy coming back to do the job. She said he would have to come and check it, We said fine but he's not touching the floor again. NEVER called us back. We called her today 11/09/13. Wasn't in, was told she starts at 10. Called after 10, apparently shes not in all week. Gonna call back Monday. Not happy. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don't care about you or the job. Would not recommend EVER going with this company.
