Started my trade in 1981 as a carpenters helper, with a homebuilder's company and stuck with them for the next 7 years. Worked in many phases of home construction. Started my own deck building business in 1989. I have built hundreds of decks and pergolas and still enjoy completing a custom project. In 2011 I started building cabinets with a friend, and our work grew and grew. We worked for several local builders, and after several years of fighting traffic for 1 or 2 hours a day (Austin traffic)I formed Leander Woodworks so we could better serve the communities where we live.
