Late GST return filing attracts penalty. This penalty called as late fees. As per the GST Act, the late fee is Rs.100 PER DAY. So it is Rs 100 under Central goods service tax and Rs 100 under State Goods service tax. Total fine will be Rs.200 per day. The maximum limit of penalty is Rs.5000.
