Date: 09/06/2020I phoned KMS Services this afternoon and they quoted a 160 litre Rheem electric water heater that was $500+ more than what my usual plumber was offering. They refused to do a price beat because I was not ordering exactly the same capacity as my existing 125 litre Rheem water heater. They then complained that I was criticising them for overcharging me and refusing to do a price beat that they guarantee on their website, because I did not meet their terms and conditions to have exactly the same capacity tank. Their advertised specials also do not include new valves, which cost hundreds of dollars in extra charges. Bottom-line is the customer is NEVER right when KMS Services is on the job, and their price beat is an empty promise they will never deliver. This is how to lose $1600 of business in the middle of a worldwide pandemic ...
