Judith Wright Centre
The Judith Wright Centre in Brisbane is home to a unique blend of cabaret, circus, dance, music and contemporary theatre, located in the heart of Fortitude Valley’s creative precinct.
Tenants include internationally renowned arts companies of the calibre of Circa and Expressions Dance Company, as well as creative industry companies such as Carbon Media and The Post Effect. 'The Judy' is also home to the exhibitions of the Institute of Modern Art, with the experience made complete with Arthouse Coffee by day and Glass Bar by night.
The Judith Wright Centre's venues include the signature Performance Space and intimate Shopfront, as well as rehearsal and meeting rooms. These highly flexible, licensed venues can cater for creative meetings of minds, film shoots and screenings, workshops and seminars, through to major product launches, tradeshows, arts festivals, awards nights and conferences.
Local artists are supported to develop and present works that connect with audiences locally, nationally and internationally through the Fresh Ground artist-in-residence program.
