Established in 2012 by Melbourne Podiatrist Leah Waters, Stride Podiatry is a patient care focused podiatry clinic operating in Hampton East Victoria. Stride Podiatry Clinic has gained reputation in the bayside Melbourne area for providing quality podiatric assessments and treatments.
Oliver Tate is now the head Podiatrist after Leah decided to pursue a career in the footwear industry. Oliver comes to Stride Podiatry Clinic after an exciting role as a custom ski boot fitter in the Japanese snowfields of Niseko. Prior to this; Oliver held Podiatrist positions at private practices in both Perth and Ballarat where he managed musculoskeletal injuries, in addition to paediatrics, nail surgeries and general podiatry.
Oliver has also forged a strong football career at the Victorian Football League (VFL) level. After being a senior member of the North Ballarat Football Club, this season Oliver was recruited to the Williamstown Seagulls. Oliver has a keen interest in Sports Podiatry and given his experience has an excellent understanding of functional, physical and biomechanical demands of playing sports.
In addition to his Podiatry degree from Latrobe University, Oliver is trained in Dry Needling, Prolotherapy, Foot Mobilisation Technique, Masterfit Boot-fitting and has studied biomechanics extensively. To make the Stride Podiatry Clinic accessible to more patients our clinic is open on Saturday morning (Yes – a foot doctor open on Saturday!)
