Fusion Acupuncture & Natural Therapies is a busy Chinese Medicine clinic located in the heart of Brisbane City and in West End. The owner/practitioner, Caitlin Armit, has completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) at Endeavour College of Natural Health. She has a particular interest in treating sleep disorders (insomnia, sleep apnoea, fatigue), digestive complaints (constipation/diarrhoea, bloating, nausea, IBS, Crohn’s disease), women’s health issues (irregular/painful menstruation, pregnancy, polycystic ovarian syndrome) and skin disorders (eczema, psoriasis). She is a registered practitioner with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and is a member of two natural health associations: AACMA and ANTA.
Acupuncture treatments are gentle and include a variety of techniques including massage, cupping, moxibustion and herbal medicine to achieve the best possible outcome. Most people know that acupuncture is an effective treatment for musculoskeletal pain and conditions such as neck/shoulder tension, osteoarthritis, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder and migraines. In fact, the World Health Organisation recognises acupuncture as a valid treatment for over 40 conditions, only some of which are musculoskeletal disorders. Acupuncture is only one component of an entire system of medicine which treats every system of the human body. Many respiratory, cardiac, digestive, uro-genital and reproductive conditions respond well to Chinese Medicine.
