Typical applications of C-45 Round Bars are axles, bolts, connecting rods, studs, rams, pins, rolls, spindles, ratchets, crankshafts, torsion bars, sockets, worms, light gears, guide rods, etc. AISI 1045 mild/low carbon steel round bars is characterised by fairly good strength and impact properties, plus good machinability and reasonable weldability in the hot rolled or normalised condition. AISI 1045 medium low-carbon steel bars are also popular because of its ability to be machined easily.
