I have not attempted to use in that way, but rather i question that 5 Second Fix would hold. Consider what inflatables do when air is included. The elastic/vinyl grows. This material, and most other material does not move . 5 Second Fix may hold for a moment, until weight is put on the patch territory. I am certain there is a repair unit for what you need to do. Just not this specific unit....
