I Never thought i would be a Celebrant. I was about to embark on my one year journey around the world to test myself, to find what i wanted that would satisfy my hunt for Meaning. Working in disability support and holding youth groups, although meaningful didnt hack it. i wanted more. Just before i left, i was sitting with one of my oldest friends as he and his recently engaged partner asked me to Marry them.

I said Yes! I Was just about to be on the road for a year; find myself some meaningful experience... how could i say no, what an honour! I wasn’t qualified, i hadn’t expressed interest, hadn’t decided wether i believed in marriage! but they saw something in me that they wanted as a celebrant for their wedding.

I travelled through many cultures, many wedding traditions, many experiences... with marriage in my mind. I studied in each country as i went, registering just in time for the wedding. By this point i had developed stronger relationship values, down to earth philosophies and poetic belief in marriage. I was keen as anything to Celebrate with them in such a special way.

The ceremony was nestled in a beautiful grove of trees in a field. a relaxed, happy atmosphere with tears and smiles. A wedding as it should be; The most joyful, loving and meaningful celebration of your relationship and life.
