A friend recommended us to Yoyo Box Mobile Storage as we needed a quick and easy solution and found the staff courteous and helpful at all sections of the process, Specifically we also asked them to drop off some extra things at my mothers home in the next suburb which they obliged without charge. Please do NOT use this company. They have so many hidden fees and are unethical business people. Here is my story. Rob the owner seemed really nice and friendly at first. We told him what we needed moved/stored and even though every other website said we'd need more space, Rob underquoted us......(we didn't listen and got the bigger box anyways). He also implied the rates were fixed and he'd be able to do the move in 1.5 hours. The day of the move Rob and another guy show up. Neither of them were in good shape. Long story short, they were at our place for 5+ hours. My wife and I moved over half of our items to the boxes. Then Rob charged us for the entire time he was there. He also charged us for blankets which we didn't ask him to use. Even though we disagreed with the charges he still billed our credit card which he saved on file -- something we didn't give him consent to do.... Long story short.... we refused to deal with an uneithical business and we worried he'd destroy out stuff so a couple weeks later went and moved our stuff somewhere else. All in Rob tried to charge us $1500+ when the original quote was a few hundred. We had to file a dispute with our bank to get some of the money back. In my option the conduct of this business is borderline illegal. Please don't use them. I know the website seems nice and Rob comes off as friendly, but they are unethical and will charge you for so many additional things. Use anyone else, it will be much cheaper.

AVOID YOYO BOX. TRULY MISLEADING AND DECEITFULL!! Disgusted, Overcharged 1 hr additional loading fee, overcharged for a blanket which I never ask for!!! Works out much more expensive than you think. Yoyo box UNDER estimated and mislead. Rob the owner is a SCAM. This is the first time in 40 years I come across to such as negative experience!

I would not recommend this company as my experience with them was not satisfactory. When I tried to discuss my issues with them, they ignored my emails. I ended up submitting a complaint to the Department of Fair Trading.
